Organically shared content, a Holy Grail of advertising, is now in the grasp of Food Bloggers and Recipe Developers with FYF’s “Preferred Recipe Site".
The Preferred Recipe Site service provides the HANDSHAKE between YOUR RECIPES and the FYF COMMUNITY, who will promote you across Facebook!
A Preferred Site status helps food bloggers, recipe developers and any food-related site get more traffic and exposure. The Preferred Site service is the HANDSHAKE between YOUR RECIPES and OUR FYFCOMMUNITY, who are given the opportunity and tools to share and promote your recipes across Facebook (and more social media in the future).
- FYF recipe authors promote your recipes across FB by referencing them as an inspiration inside their recipes. Every FYF recipe has an optional Referenced Recipe field to foster recipe attribution and specifically to promote Preferred Site members.
- FYF recipe authors get Incentives/Benefits by referencing recipes from Preferred Sites. Such benefits include bonus scoring toward their Chef Ranks, used in our friendly Chef Competition.
- The FYF Community is encouraged to visit your Site, being presented in the Preferred Site Listing (See next Section fordetails).
- FYF tracks clicks (and other metrics) aggregated from all FYF recipes that reference your recipes. A social activity report is emailed b-weekly.
The Preferred Site Listing is the key to success. Your presence on the list ensures your Site is presented to our members, as well as ongoing external promotions by FYF (ex: FYF Blog, Direct Emails, FB Page Posts, FYF App Notifications, and anyother means available to FYF now and in the future).
Your list placement per category is determined by your click count. If your site resonates with our community and their FB friends/communities, your position increases, as does your odds of being even more popular.
Note: This preferred site listing is available upon an FYF login and via this public page.
The first 15 days are FREE. Continued presence on the listing requires an activated service via subscription. After 15 days, you will receive an email with subscription options. If service is not active, your site is hidden from the listing but is always ready to be displayed upon reactivation.
FYF will continue to monitor clicks on any referenced recipes, even with an inactive service. However, the bi-weekly social activity reporting only continues with active service.
Preferred Status is based solely on your active service. FYF will not judge a site based on its content,preferring/qualifying one site over another. We are cooks here too and understand every food site is a labor of love and deserves the best chance to be seen and shared. FYF will check registrants to be actual food sites but leaves subjective/personal preference to our food community, with clicks acting as the primary, objective indicator of popularity.
For the first time, a site (FYF) will aggregate, organize and promote food blogs and sites to a community waiting for inspirational recipes by category. Now, anyone looking to a make a specific dish, can easily peruse the Preferred Site Listing to find the food blogs and sites relevant to their current need.
Preferred Site was developed to be the easiest way to gain exposure. Your one-time registration unlocks the potential of a community that does all the work for you, as they build their own inspired recipe libraries.
Thank you for becoming a Preferred Site member and considering this service to increase your exposure.
